This year's edition of the Estoril Classics is approaching, with less than three weeks to go, and in 2024 it will feature an exciting new development – Grandstand E will be open to the public, offering one of the most privileged spots to watch races at the Autódromo do Estoril.
Now in its sixth edition, the Estoril Classics, one of the largest events dedicated to classic car competitions, is a major highlight of the year for motorsport fans in Portugal and beyond. It also attracts public figures from the world of motorsport and society, who enjoy the sophisticated and tasteful atmosphere of the paddock.
In 2024, the Estoril Classics organisers, in partnership with the Portuguese round of the FIM World Superbike Championship, offer spectators yet another reason to attend. Grandstand E, which has been closed for eight years, will once again be open during the weekend to those who purchase specific tickets for this area – priced at €20 for day tickets and €30 for the weekend. Access to this grandstand will also be an additional benefit for all those who have purchased paddock tickets.
This grandstand offers fans spectacular views, perfect for taking unique photos, especially of the machines expected at this year’s Estoril Classics, with the Tyrrell P34 being the most iconic example.
This addition, long requested by knowledgeable fans, provides access to a prime location for following the races. It allows spectators to watch the cars from the Interior Straight to the Chicane, passing through the Interior Parabolica and into the Orelha Curve – all areas where drivers are often seen battling for positions, pushing their braking limits.
With a programme covering fifty years of motorsport history across various categories – Formula 1, Sports Prototypes, GT, and Touring Cars – Grandstand E will give fans the chance to follow legendary machines across much of the Estoril Circuit and observe how they perform in different scenarios.
Access to Grandstand E will be via Rua D. Dinis Bordalo Pinheiro street, with a dedicated ticket booth at the entrance. Tickets can also be purchased online through the official website, BOL.pt, FNAC, or Worten.
Paddock tickets, available in limited numbers, also grant access to Grandstand E, with daily tickets priced at €20 for Friday and €35 for Saturday or Sunday. A three-day pass is available for just €50, while children under 16 can enter the paddock for free when accompanied by an adult.
As has been tradition since the first edition of the Estoril Classics, access to Grandstand A at the Estoril Circuit is free, allowing all fans to experience the grand celebration at this historic Portuguese circuit.
